This course is designed to both deepen and broaden a student’s knowledge and appreciation of Circuits & Electronics I (ECE 210). By investigating 13 novel scenarios not covered in ECE 210, often from multiple perspectives, students explore a range of alternative methods for analyzing circuits and develop a more strategic approach to solving problems. Students extend their experience beyond the contexts possible within the normal course of study, from three dimensional or infinite networks of resistors, capacitors, and inductors to circuits that produce seemingly unpredictable outcomes.
