Enrollment options

The seminar aims to enhance the linguistic and cultural competence of international teaching assistants (ITAs) by focusing on aspects of academic spoken English, cross-cultural awareness, pronunciation, and best pedagogical practices relevant for teaching in university contexts within the U.S.

This course is designed for ITAs who undergo an English proficiency screening at the beginning of the first semester of teaching. After completing the screening, ITAs will be notified as to whether they are eligible to attend the course.
